Go Pink on Mother's Day To Fight Breast Cancer

• For the fourth year Major League Baseball^® players will be swinging pink Louisville Slugger^® bats on Mother's Day.
• The pink Louisville Slugger bats are part of MLB's Mother's Day promotion, Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer. It benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure^®.
• Louisville Slugger is once again donating the pink game bats. More than 250 MLB players have requested pink Louisville Slugger bats this year.
• Over the past 4 seasons Louisville Slugger has donated over $100,000 worth of pink MLB player game bats to this effort.
• Pink Louisville Slugger bats used in games by MLB players will be available via auction on mlb.com after Mother's Day, May 10.
• Louisville Slugger donates $10 from the sale of each pink Louisville Slugger personalized bat to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
• In 2006, 2007, and 2008, along with the help of partners Louisville Slugger, New Era and Soft as a Grape, MLB has raised nearly $1 million for the fight against breast cancer.
• Louisville Slugger is the Official Bat of Major League Baseball and is celebrating its 125th anniversary during the 2009 season.
