This official National League (Feeney) Baseball features a number of great (and RARE) player signatures from those in attendance at the 1977 National Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Cubs legend Ernie Banks. Names on this ball include “High Pockets” Kelly and Judy Johnson – both of these signatures are very difficult to find and make this ball one of the rarest of its kind. Also on the ball are Stan Coveleski, Lloyd Waner, Rube Marquard, Bill Terry, Buck Leonard, Freddie Lindstrom, Burleigh Grimes, Earl Averill, Luke Appling, Whitey Ford, Red Ruffing, Joe Sewell, Stan Musial, Cool Papa Bell, Robin Roberts, Charles Gehringer, Billy Herman, Cal Hubbard, Bob Feller, Joe Cronin, Monte Irvin, Al Lopez and Ernie Banks. All signatures rank on average of 7 or 8 out of 10 (Marguard’s first name almost not visible) and the ball displays light, even toning and retains bold league stampings.
