This baseball features the signatures of 21 members of the 1974 New York Yankees – including catcher Thurman Munson, who died in his prime in a plane crash. At the time of this death Munson was widely considered the finest pitch called in either league. Other signatures on this ball include Whitey Ford, Roy White, Craig Nettles, M.
