Autographed Photo of Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams and Pres. George Bush (41)

This historic photograph was snapped during the official Presidential Citation Ceremony on July 9, 1991, as President George Bush paid tribute to baseball Hall of Fame players Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams. It was the 50th anniversary of the historic 1941 season during which DiMaggio hit in a record 56 straight games and Williams batted .406 for the season. Two marks that still stand today. In addition to their great careers, Pres. Bush honored both men for their service to the country as members of the US Military. This 16″ x 20″ framed color photograph comes from Ted Williams’ own, personal collection, and is one of just a few photos from that day that were autographed by all men, at Williams’ request. Signatures on the front in silver ink rate 8/9 out of 10, and your photo comes with both a Letter of Provenance from Claudia Williams and Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication.  This rare and historic piece could just as easily hang in a museum of presidential library as in your home or office.
