Description
Lou Gehrig’s record for most consecutive games played in the Major Leagues stood for more than half a century until it was eclipsed by Cal Ripken Jr. of the Baltimore Orioles. It was on September 6, 1995, the Iron Man surpassed the Iron Horse. On the occasion of the new record, and as a tribute to both of these great players, noted sports artist James Fiorentino created this special 29×24 print featuring both Gehrig and Ripken. This particular print is no. 254 from a Limited Edition series of 2,191 pieces AND is autographed by Cal Ripken Jr. A Certificate of Authenticity from PSA/DNA is included. Due to the unique nature of this offer we will charge your credit card for the full amount immediately upon taking your order to ensure we reserve this signed print for you.
