Since his debut on June 6th, De La Cruz has achieved several eye-popping achievements showing off his five-tool ability. On June 23rd, he hit for the cycle becoming the fifth youngest player ever to do so and the 3rd most inexperienced in games played. On July 8, he stole 2nd, 3rd, and home in the same plate appearance becoming the second player in the expansion era to do so. On July 16, he recorded the fastest ever infield assist with a throw of 97.9 MPH. He then went on to break his own record on July 20th with a 99.8 MPH throw to nab a runner at home.
