Also included are signatures of Hal Schumacher, Bill Hallahan, Frankie Frisch, Lefty O’Doul, Wally Berger, Lon Warneke, and Tony Cuccinello. The 1933 MLB All Star game was the first ever All Star game to be played. The game was held on July 6, 1933 at Comiskey Park in Chicago, the home of the Chicago White Sox of the American League. The All-Star Game was the idea of Arch Ward, the sports editor of the Chicago Tribune and was initially intended to be a one-time event.
