Lefty Grove Framed Photo and Signature Presentation

This framed and mounted photo presentation features a signed, authenticated photograph of Lefty Grove, an American pitching legend. One of the greatest left-handed pitchers in major league history, Robert Moses “Lefty” Grove was an MLB star of the AL Philadelphia Athletics and Boston Red Sox. With a dominant and boisterous presence, Lefty did everything big. Sportswriter Arthur “Bugs” Baer wrote that Lefty “could throw a lamb chop past a wolf.”  A six-time All Star, Lefty Grove won 300 games in his 17-year MLB career. In the three years between 1929 and 1931, he won the pitcher’s Triple Crown two times, leading the league in wins, strikeouts and ERA, and secured the A’s in winning the pennant in all three consecutive years. Most impressive are his nine ERA titles, easily the greatest total in history. Grove was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1947. This is a George Burke original photo that measures 4” x 6” and is a piece of baseball history commemorating legend of the game; makes a perfect addition to any memorabilia collection.
