In their second game of the season, they made MLB history by becoming the only team to hit back-back-back home runs on three consecutive pitches to lead off a game. The team went on to hit 6 more home runs in the game giving them an all-time franchise record with 9 home runs in a single game.

To honor the Yankees and their home run records, we are proud to release the first of its kind Torpedo Style Commemorative Chrome Splash Bat. The bat is chromed using a labor-intensive 16-step process in NYY two-tone colors. The bat is then laser engraved with acknowledgment of their records and the facsimile signatures of the 7 players that contributed to the 9 home runs. Get your officially licensed bat before they sell out!
