Description

Here is a very rare photo of Yankees Hall of Fame manager Bucky Harris framed together with the equally unique “Centennial of Baseball” envelop featuring Harris’ autograph. This will make perhaps the finest addition to any collection of rare sports or Yankees team memorabilia. Although Harris managed the Yankees for only two seasons he guided the team to the top in winning the 1947 World Series. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1975 by vote of the Hall’s Veteran’s Committee. The 14×20 framed photo comes with a authentication by PSA/DNA. Harris was also a member of the 1924 Washington Senators that defeated the New York Giants in the World Series. Harris hit a two-run single in the 8th inning to tie Game 7. The Senators won that game  in the bottom of the 12th inning to claim the title.
