This is an authentic New York Yankees jersey autographed and inscribed by Bobby Richardson – MVP of the 1960 World Series. He is the ONLY World Series MVP to be selected from the losing team, in that year the Yankees lost by virtue of Bill Mazeroski’s legendary walk-off home run in Game 7. Richardson autographed the rear numeral and included the inscription, “60 WS MVP #1” along with his signature. Richardson wore the no. 1 for the majority of his 8 year career. This unframed jersey comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication.
